US-31 Bascule Bridge Rehabilitation

Anlaan Corporation was awarded the rehabilitation project of 5 structures in Ottawa County including the US-31 Bascule Bridge over the Grand River. This multi-year project was completed with minimal disruptions to marine traffic as critical bascule bridge repairs were completed during the winter. The remaining structures were rehabilitated during the regular construction season. The Grand Haven Bascule bridge has been restored to service with faster cycle times and improved safety features to reduce the impact to vehicular and marine thoroughfares.
